APC Press Corps Pays Condolence Visit to Party Chairman Yilwatda

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Press Corps has paid a condolence visit to the APC National Chairman, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, over the recent passing of his mother.

Receiving the delegation at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, Dr. Yilwatda expressed appreciation for their visit and used the occasion to reflect on the party’s performance in last Saturday’s bye-elections across the country.

He described the victories recorded in states such as Kaduna, Kano, Adamawa, and Taraba as a testament to the strength and wide acceptance of the ruling party.

“We are learning from criticism, and every criticism helps us get better. Our recent electoral victories show clearly that the APC is not just a ruling party but the leading and preferred party in Nigeria,” the APC chairman said.

Dr. Yilwatda noted that the APC enjoyed broad support across all six geopolitical zones, citing victories in both northern and southern states as proof of the party’s national appeal.

According to him, the party remains focused on grassroots politics rather than media narratives, emphasizing that its progressive policies are targeted at improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

“Our policies are not for the rich or the bourgeois. We address the poorest of the poor, and that is why Nigerians continue to believe in us. With 75 percent acceptance across the country, we are confident that 2027 is going to be another sure victory for the APC,” he added.

The APC chairman thanked members of the press corps for their consistent support in projecting the party’s ideals and achievements, stressing that the confidence of Nigerians in the party will continue to guarantee its electoral success.
