The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended warm felicitations to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, on the occasion of his 59th birthday.
In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, the ruling party described Shettima as an exceptional leader, astute administrator, and loyal progressive whose life and career continue to inspire millions of Nigerians.
The APC highlighted Shettima’s remarkable journey from the banking sector to public service, where he served as Commissioner, two-term Governor of Borno State, and later as Senator, before assuming the office of Vice President.
According to the statement, “Your Excellency’s life at 59 has already made indelible footprints on our national promenade and continues to be an inspiration to many. As a patriot, you have worked tirelessly for peace and unity of our country.”
The party further commended the Vice President for his steadfast loyalty and unwavering support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, noting that his role has been crucial to the success of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“On behalf of the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the National Working Committee, leaders, and members of our great Party, we pray that Almighty Allah grants you many more years of sound health, wisdom, and strength to continue your illustrious and awe-inspiring service to country and humanity,” the statement added.
The APC wished the Vice President a happy birthday as he marks the milestone.
