The Nigerian Army has alerted members of the public to a fake recruitment notice currently circulating across social media and other online platforms. The false publication claims that application for the 90 Regular Recruitment Intake has commenced.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Army described the publication as “false, misleading and should be disregarded in its entirety.”

The Army emphasized that it has a standard procedure for announcing recruitment exercises, stressing that only information released through its verified official platforms should be considered authentic.

“The Nigerian Army will duly inform the public through its official channels once the portal for 90 Regular Recruitment Intake is formally opened,” the statement noted, while urging Nigerians to be wary of fraudsters taking advantage of unsuspecting job seekers.

The Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Directorate of Recruitment, Captain AU Hammanga, who signed the release, reiterated the Army’s commitment to transparency and professionalism in all recruitment processes
