Mr. Sunday gave the commendation on Monday, October 19, 2025, when he led a delegation from RazorNews Group on a courtesy visit to the Commissioner at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters.
In his remarks, the media executive described CP Moshood’s tenure as a period of “refreshing transformation” in the security landscape of Lagos, noting that his leadership has restored public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force through intelligence-led policing, discipline, and compassion.
According to Sunday, “Since your assumption of office, Lagos has witnessed a remarkable decline in major crimes through proactive policing and strategic deployment of resources. Your emphasis on community partnership and people-centric policing has strengthened the relationship between the Police and the public, making law enforcement more inclusive and impactful.”
He lauded the Commissioner’s open-door policy and constant engagement with key stakeholders, including media practitioners, community leaders, and civil society groups, describing such efforts as evidence of modern, transparent policing.
“Your recognition of the media as a strategic partner in security management underscores your deep understanding of the role of communication, trust, and transparency in maintaining peace and order,” Sunday added.
The RazorNews boss reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to supporting the Police through responsible journalism, public enlightenment, and the promotion of positive narratives that enhance public trust in law enforcement agencies.
“At RazorNews Group, we believe in celebrating excellence and honouring those who quietly drive national progress. CP Olohundare Jimoh Moshood stands out as one of such silent achievers whose professionalism and integrity continue to inspire confidence in the Force,” he said.
He assured the Police Command of continued partnership in advancing peace and stability in Lagos State and beyond.
