Adamawa APC: Three Reps Aspirants Obtain Nomination Forms, Applaud Youth Inclusion Policy

Three aspirants seeking seats in the House of Representatives in Adamawa State have officially declared their intentions under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), after obtaining their Expression of Interest and Nomination forms.
The aspirants—Mas’ud Ibrahim Usman, Vrati Sahulama Nzonzo, and Haruna Daniel Tabwarakan—picked up the forms at the party’s national headquarters, signaling their readiness to participate in the forthcoming primary elections.
The trio is said to be politically aligned with AbdulRahman Haske, a leading governorship aspirant in the state who recently secured his own nomination forms.
Usman, born August 8, 1992, is contesting to represent the Ganye, Jada, Toungo, and Mayo-Belwa Federal Constituency, highlighting the growing participation of younger politicians within the party. Nzonzo, born January 9, 1979, is vying for the Numan, Demsa, and Lamurde Federal Constituency, while Tabwarakan, born October 14, 1973, is contesting for the Guyuk/Shelleng Federal Constituency.
The aspirants commended the APC leadership for implementing policies that promote youth participation in politics, particularly the provisions inspired by the Not Too Young To Run Act. They praised the party’s decision to grant a 50 percent reduction in nomination fees for younger aspirants, describing it as a significant step toward reducing financial barriers in Nigeria’s electoral process.
One of the aspirants reportedly benefited from a N20 million discount on the combined cost of the forms, which they said demonstrates the party’s commitment to inclusivity. Political observers note that the development reflects efforts within the APC to encourage broader participation and bridge the gap between established politicians and emerging leaders ahead of the general elections.
The aspirants also credited sustained advocacy by proponents of the Not Too Young To Run initiative, expressing confidence that continued support for youth inclusion would strengthen internal democracy within the party.
