The Acting Director of Army Public Relations (DAPR), Colonel Apollonia Anele, on Thursday decorated Major Saleh Buba with his new rank of Lieutenant Colonel at the Headquarters of the Directorate of Army Public Relations in Abuja.

Speaking during the ceremony, Colonel Anele congratulated the officer and commended his dedication to duty. She urged him to maintain high standards of discipline, professionalism, and loyalty to the Nigerian Army, noting that the promotion represents both recognition of past achievements and a call to greater responsibility.

Also addressing attendees, the Director of Defence Information, Major General Samaila Uba, described the promotion as a reward for hard work, discipline, and distinguished service. He encouraged the newly promoted officer to continue upholding the core values of the Nigerian Army.

In his remarks, Lieutenant Colonel Saleh Buba expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, for the promotion. He also appreciated the Acting Director of Army Public Relations for her leadership and support, pledging continued commitment and loyalty to duty.

The event was attended by senior military officers, personnel, family members, and invited guests.
