APC Releases Revised Timetable for 2027 General Elections

Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has announced a revised timetable and schedule of activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The updated schedule, signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, outlines adjustments to key processes, including screening of aspirants, appeals, and primary elections.
According to the party, the revision also provides fresh directives on the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, as well as details of designated bank accounts approved to receive payments for the forms.
The APC stated that the changes are part of efforts to streamline its internal processes and ensure a smooth lead-up to the election
Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, confirmed the development in an official statement issued in Abuja.
